Chimichurri Lamb Chops

Cook time: 40 minutes

Serves: 4-6

Ingredients & Items

  • Verde Chimichurri
  • 2 Lamb Chop (1”, +/- 0.5” thick)
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Optional Garnish: AXEL Spanish Onions
  • Grill (outdoor)
  • Oven & Skillet (indoor)
  • Cooking oil or Olive oil (indoor)
  • Foil (indoor)

Directions

  1. Place lamb chops in a Ziploc bag and add 1 tablespoon of your favorite Chimichurri per guest. Seal the Ziploc bag and mix the AXEL Chimichurri until lamb chops are covered in marinade. Let sit for 30-60 minutes. Fire up the grill or prepare oven and skillet to cook meat

Indoor:

  1. Turn on the oven to 400F. Place foil on a metal tray. Add oil to tray or a small amount of oil to prevent sticking. Place tray(s) with lamb chops in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until lamb chops are light brown.
  2. Add one tablespoon of oil to skillet with high heat. Place lamb chops on the skillet. Cook the lamb chops to your liking and remember not to touch the meat too much (Pro Tip: Use butter instead of oil. 2-3 minutes each side. Two flips should be sufficient).
  3. ‍Remove lamb chops and place on serving platter. Add another tablespoon of Chimichurri on top of lamb chops and let sit for 5 minutes. Garnish with AXEL Spanish Onions.
  4. Serve & enjoy :)

Outdoor:

  1. Place lamb chops on the grill, high to medium heat. Cook the lamb chops to your liking and remember not to touch the meat too much (Pro Tip: 4-5 minutes each side. Three flips should be sufficient).
  2. ‍Remove lamb chops and place on serving platter. Add another tablespoon of AXEL Chimichurri on top of lamb chops and let sit for 5 minutes. Garnish with AXEL Spanish Onions.
  3. ‍Serve & enjoy :)
