Choripan Sandwiches

Cook time: 20 minutes

Serves: Depends on pack size

Ingredients & Items

  • AXEL Chimichurri flavor of your choice
  • Johnsonville Mild Italian Sausage 5 per pack (or Italian sausage of your choice)
  • 1 French Baguette
  • Lettuce of your choice (Red-Tip Leaf, Spring Mix, Iceberg)
  • AXEL Spanish Onions flavor of your choice
  • Grill or Skillet
  • Cutting Board
  • Chef Knife


  1. Clean lettuce for Choripan.
  2. ‍Place Italian sausages on hot grill or skillet. Cook until ready, slice down the middle “butterfly-style” and place on grill or skillet for 2 more minutes.
  3. ‍Slice French baguette in sandwich sizes, and cut in half to have a top and bottom layer. Toast baguette pieces.
  4. ‍Place Italian sausage on toast, add the desired amount of AXEL Chimichurri to Choripan. Add lettuce. Garnish with AXEL Spanish Onions.
  5. ‍Serve & enjoy :)
