A friend who had visited rural Argentina on a yearly basis got me interested in parilla cooking. Problem was, I could never find a supermarket chimichurri that hit the spot. I even made my own, using Chef Francis Mallman’s recipe. Still didn’t cut it, according to my friend. I spotted Axel’s ad on Facebook and figured it was worth a try. I made up a pound of flat-cut short ribs and applied the sauce. Immediate success. Even my wife, who was never big on condiments, added extra Axel’s! Definitely the best!
